To those who don't have a 3DS and think they can wait until fall when more games come out, I wouldn't wait if I were you. Ocarina of Time is a definite NEED in your 3DS collection! And Nintendo announced that they may not reprint until later on, if at all so if you don't have your copy yet, run to a store RIGHT NOW and pray they still have some!
Personally, Ocarina of Time was my favorite Zelda game of all time. Now remastered, the story I loved playing as a child, gets even better! The graphic upgrades that they put in this game makes it look incredible compared to the N64 or Gamecube version. This morning I turned both my GC version and 3DS version and held them side by side and there's no comparison, the 3DS' graphics blow my mind! Sure the texturing in some places could've been improved like when you look at the grass, they didn't do much of an update, but they didn't need to! They remastered all the characters (no more triangular face Link!), Monsters and Bosses. Also added more detail to environment. (The only think they didn't add detail to is the Ocarina! Go figure)
Playing in 3D mode looks really cool, however, I just purchased my 3DS on recently and I'm not used to it so it hurts my mind a little when I'm playing in 3D mode too long. However, playing in 2D mode is worth it too! You can notice the updates more.
The best part about Ocarina of Time 3D is that it's on a handheld so you can lay in bed, go on a very long roadtrip, go outside and STILL PLAY ZELDA <3 It's very awesome!
My final score for the Zelda remake, is 9.0 ! (Because it's a remake, I don't want to give it a perfect score)
